LunaCol – even the wildest dreams come true!

LunaCol is the most important supplementation product that has been created in the history of COLWAY and the first of its kind in the world. It contains three substances that supplement the foods we eat with very important ingredients:

LUNASIN – discovered only in 1996, is an unusual protein that does not degrade in the gastrointestinal tract. In supplementation, lunasin is completely unknown due to the huge costs of its acquisition. The only products that have appeared on the market so far (only in the USA) contain trace amounts of lunasin, up to 600 nanograms, and yet they are very popular, because hundreds of publications already indicate that lunasin is humanity's great hope for a breakthrough in many fields of science.  It is the first and only epigenetic food known so far, i.e. it can affect the increase in gene activity and their qualitative progress.  A portion of pure lunasin in 1 capsule of LunaCol is 833 times larger than that which consumers receive in products branded by the American discoverers of this protein. It amounts to 0.5 mg. Obtaining it in such an effective way that LunaCol could contain so much lunasin is an outstanding achievement of Polish biotechnological thought in recent years.

Lunasin is not named after the moon. Its discoverer, Dr. Alfredo Galvez – of Filipino origin named this miraculous protein lunasin – from the word "lunas", which in his native Tagalog language means: "CURE".

LYSOZYME – (muramidase) Alexander Fleming, who in 1922 discovered a natural, phylogenetically very early, primordial defense mechanism, characteristic of all living organisms – lysozyme, not penicillin, for which he became famous, always considered his most important work. In industrially sourced forms, it serves as an excellent biopreservative for food, an alternative to chemical preservatives, primarily in cheese ripening rooms and wineries. The aseptic power of this natural enzyme is shown by the fact that 1 ml of muramidase is able to defend a thousand-liter vat of wine against bacterial diseases!

LunaCol uses a lysozyme dimer, a substance that revolutionized veterinary medicine by working where antibiotics do not. In human medicine in the European Union, it is used to a very limited extent, despite the fact that there are more and more antibiotic-resistant bacteria, and there is no known case of drug resistance to lysozyme dimer – one of the most valuable substances that can be used to contain a dietary supplement. Safe for our body inhabiting the digestive system. You need to supplement with it for a long time and patiently, because it works very slowly, but at the same time it is so strong that in the purified state it shows antibacterial activity even in a dilution of 1:7!

Supplementation with lysozyme is also justified by the fact that it is not so easy for us to obtain it from the foods we eat. It has been isolated from milk for a long time in the UHT process. It is found in noticeable amounts only in goat cheese and egg whites, but they should be eaten raw, because lysozyme dies at a maximum temperature of 70 ⁰C. It is also found in LunaCol because its enzymatic structure makes it work synergistically with lunasin.
There are very few lysozyme supplements on the market, because it is an expensive ingredient. In practice, it is difficult to purchase lysozyme other than the industrially sourced E 1105. LunaCol contains lysozyme of the highest possible quality, produced in the same place and regime as lunasin.

Lysozyme is part of our innate immune system and one of the basic substances of immunity. A very high concentration of it is contained, for example, in breast milk, which protects the newborn baby from all germs before it develops its immune system. Lysozyme is also the most important component of the first food of mammals, the mother's gift of immunity – colostrum.

BETA-GLUCANS – specifically 1.3-1.6D β-glucans have a symbiotic effect with lysozyme, and also stimulate its production in the body. In Atlantic salmon fed beta glucans, lysozyme production increased by 500-600%. Each time and in all salmon tested. In humans, it does not work so strongly, which is why supplementation with lysozyme is all the more desirable.  Our body, when it naturally fights a disease, uses the following excellent mechanism: "finding" the presence of microbes, it awakens its own β-glucans, especially the forms of 1.3 - 1.6D increase the activity of macrophages, which in turn causes an immediate explosion of the body lysozyme. The body is set up for a fight.

Beta-glucans already have a very rich scientific literature, describing experiments whose results go far beyond their nutritional properties and even cholesterol-lowering functions, which were the first to be studied.  That is why they have advanced in recent years to the rank of one of the most important supplementation substances.
